Victorian State Culinary Tourism Conference in Wangaratta
Strategic Futurist Marcus Barber will be kicking off proceedings at the 2008 Regional Produce Summit in Wangaratta on the 20th of October where he’ll detail some of the emerging issues likely to impact upon the tourism and food sector in the foreseeable future and suggest ways that businesses in the sector might be able to take advantage of some of the opportunities that are appearing on the horizon
Says Marcus – “I’m delighted to be involved in this summit and to offer some insights into some of the changes of both the challenging and positive types that research is beginning to uncover. These include the changing demands of consumers with regard to both their food and travel choices, as well as the different expectations that potential customers have when it comes to culinary tourism offerings.”
Further details can be found at the Business Victoria Website and media and booking inquiries can be directed to Kate Green at the Rural City of Wangaratta via email or by phoning (03) 5722 0888
