On Thursday I’ll be part of the panel that wraps up the National Manufacturing Week 2011 in Melbourne at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre under the theme of Meeting the challenges of the next generation of manufacturing with a focus on Innovation and Sustainability. It should be an interesting chat as we consider what the future might hold for manufacturers here in Australia and potentially around the world. The link to the conference site is below

The panel will be chaired by Sandra George, a long term leader for manufacturing firms in Australia and head of the City of Greater Dandenong’s South East Business Networks (SEBN) and includes Phillip Chindamo, the Chief Economist at AI Group, Dr Erol Harvey, the CEO of Minifab, Damon Cantwell a partner with Deloitte and myself.
